After only a few days on a raw diet, a client from Seattle is already taking less medication and walking around more. We recommend non-believers with inflammatory diseases try the diet, even if they don’t think it will work. Just give it 21 days. It doesn’t take “belief” to work.

Water is the basis of all life. Drink more water!!!
I can’t even begin to tell you how many different “ailments” can be dissolved with water. Most of us are chronically dehydrated.
You should be 75% water. Are you? How much water do you drink? One glass? Two?
Without enough water, all the chemical processes that make our bodies function in a great orchestra, become slow and unsynchronized. Drink more water to improve the function of your human machine. Your body will thank you and you will feel it.

HOW MUCH WATER DO YOU NEED TO DRINK? WHEN TO DRINK?
To better determine how much water you need each day, divide your body weight in half. The answer is the approximate number of water ounces you should drink daily. You should drink half of your body weight in ounces. If you weight 200 pounds, you should drink 100 ounces water (3.13 quarts, 2.98 liters or about 10-12 cups of water a day). If you weigh closer to 100 pounds you will need only about 50 ounces of water or about four 12-ounce glasses daily.
Individuals who are physically active or live in hot climates may needs to drink more.

INTRODUCING THE “DAMN VEGANS PODCAST” with Amanda Congdon and Vegan Mario.
- 1 bunch of chard
- 1 potato
- 1 onion
- a few cloves of garlic
- salt + pepper
- olive oil
- filtered water
- clean onions
- clean garlic
- clean potatoes
- clean chard
1. Chop up the garlic and onions while the oil is warming up.
2. Drop the garlic and onions in oil when they’re ready.
3. Dice up the potatoes and add them to the pot. Sauté with the onions and garlic.
4. Prep the chard by pulling off the green leaves from the stems.
5. Finely cut the stems similarly to how you would chop celery. Then drop them into the pot and sauté with the potatoes, onions and garlic.
6. Next, take all the green leaves and roll them up into a little bundle. Then slice the bundle into thin strips and sauté with the rest of the ingredients for a couple minutes.
7. Finally, add water to the pot and finish cooking until all the ingredients are tender.
8. Salt and pepper to taste.
If you’re comfortable with grains, this soup is also great with a little rice in it!
Just drop in a handful of rice into the pot when you add in the potatoes.
Note: Some varieties of Chard have very fibrous stems… avoid using those varieties for this soup.
